Our websites are hosted by:
Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as the hosting provider. The website files are managed in a repository at GitHub (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA); Netlify retrieves the content from there and delivers it. A copy of the website is also kept on GitHub Pages; it serves solely as an emergency backup and is only activated manually if Netlify is unavailable. Forms and the login area are processed by server-side functions of Netlify (Netlify Functions). Both providers are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; data transfers to the USA take place on this basis or on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. The provider processes server log files (IP address, page accessed, time stamp, browser type) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation of the website).
Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as a DNS, CDN and security service (including DDoS protection and a web application firewall). All website traffic is routed through Cloudflare's servers; your IP address is processed in the course of this. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and fast delivery of the website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
For security reasons, our websites use SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar. When encryption is active, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
We use cookies in the following categories:
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis | |
| Necessary | Technical operation of the website (session, security) | Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR | |
| Statistics | Cookie-free, anonymous reach measurement (Umami, Ahrefs Web Analytics, see Section 9) – no statistics cookies are set | Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR |
Our website uses Klaro (Kiprotect GmbH, Greifswalder Str. 212, 10405 Berlin, Germany) to obtain and document your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Your consent decision is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. The Klaro script is loaded from a server of Kiprotect GmbH (cdn.kiprotect.com); for technical reasons your IP address is transmitted in the process but is not used for analysis. Your consent decision itself is not transmitted to Kiprotect.
If you contact us via the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are stored in order to process your enquiry. The data is transmitted via a server-side function at Netlify; the enquiry is stored in a spreadsheet at Google (Google Sheets), and confirmation and notification emails are sent via Brevo. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been processed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
If you contact us by email or telephone, your enquiry including personal data (name, contact details, content of the enquiry) is stored and processed. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Deletion takes place once the purpose of processing no longer applies.
We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of our legal-notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising.
On radacom.de we offer free PDF documents for download (e.g. "20 examples of how NIKOS saves costs"). Providing your email address is required for the download.
Process:
1. Entry of the email address and active consent (checkbox)
2. Sending of a confirmation email (double opt-in)
3. Download link after confirmation
Purpose: sending the requested document as well as optional contact regarding related topics, provided you have consented to this.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Storage period: until consent is withdrawn or upon request for deletion.
Email marketing tool: We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) to send our newsletter and to handle the double opt-in process. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with Brevo. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Brevo processes data on servers within the EU. Details: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy
Partner map (Google Sheets): On the "Rental" page, an interactive partner map is displayed. When the map loads, partner data is retrieved from Google Sheets (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This establishes a connection to Google servers, transmitting your IP address to Google. Google may use this data to create user profiles. The data transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing up-to-date partner data). Details: policies.google.com/privacy
The planning portal on nikos.info enables the download of technical documents (tender texts, checklists, white papers). For downloads that require an email address, the same conditions apply as in Section 6 (Lead magnets and downloads).
Freely accessible documents (without registration) are provided without the collection of personal data.
The protected partner area on nikos.info requires an access request, which you confirm via an email link and which we then approve. Login is password-free via a personal login link (valid for 24 hours) that we send by email (Brevo). Access data is stored in a spreadsheet at Google (Google Sheets).
Data processed: email address, name, company, certification status, examination results.
Purpose: management of partner certification, provision of training materials and software downloads.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures).
Storage period: for the duration of the active partnership; deletion upon request or after termination of the partnership.
We use Umami Analytics (Umami Software, Inc.) for privacy-friendly analysis of user behaviour on nikos.info. Umami does not set cookies and does not store any personal data; your IP address is processed only briefly for anonymisation when the page is loaded and is not stored. Only anonymous, aggregated statistics (e.g. page views, time on page, device used) are collected. Identification of individual persons is not possible. As no personal data is processed, no consent is required for this service. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing website usage). Details: umami.is/privacy
We use Google Search Console (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse the visibility of our website in Google Search (e.g. search queries, clicks, indexing status). Google Search Console does not collect any data on our website itself and does not set cookies; the data originates from the use of Google Search and is provided to us by Google exclusively in aggregated, anonymised form. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in optimising the discoverability of our website). Details: policies.google.com/privacy
For search engine optimisation we use Ahrefs (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., 16 Raffles Quay, #33-03 Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581). Ahrefs analyses publicly available data from the web (e.g. links and search engine rankings). In addition, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics for anonymous reach measurement on nikos.info. The service does not set cookies and does not store personal data; IP addresses are processed only briefly to count unique visits (daily rotating hash) and are not stored. Identification of individual persons is not possible. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing website usage). Details: ahrefs.com/privacy
Summary: All analytics services used on this website (Umami Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics) work without cookies and provide us exclusively with anonymised, aggregated statistics. Neither we nor the providers can identify individual visitors, and no user profiles are created. We therefore do not ask for consent for these services; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing and improving the website). Google Search Console and Ahrefs' SEO analyses do not collect any data on our website.
You can object to the statistics at any time (Art. 21 GDPR) without providing any data: via the button below or via the “Cookie settings” in the footer (service “Statistics”). Your decision is stored only in your browser and applies to all pages on nikos.info. Umami and Ahrefs Web Analytics will then no longer be loaded in this browser. If the “Global Privacy Control” signal is enabled in your browser, we automatically treat this as an objection. The objection applies to the respective browser and device; if you delete your browser data, you may need to declare it again.
Access and erasure: As the statistics services do not store any personal data, neither we nor the providers can attribute collected values to a specific person. Access to or targeted erasure of individual records is therefore not possible (Art. 11 GDPR). For all other data protection matters, you can reach us at info@radacom.de.
On radacom.de and nikos.info there are links to our Instagram profile (simple link, no embedded element). No data is transmitted to Instagram unless you actively click on the link and open Instagram.
On radacom.de and nikos.info there are links to our LinkedIn profile (simple link). No data is transmitted to LinkedIn unless you actively click on the link.
Note: Embedded social media elements (buttons, feeds, pixels) are not used on either website. Links lead exclusively to the respective platforms.
On radacom.de, the "Mobile Communication" section contains an external link to www.eta-electronic.de. When you click on this link, you leave our website. The respective provider is solely responsible for the content and data protection practices of this external website.
All fonts are hosted locally on our servers. No connection to Google servers takes place.
Our websites use SSL/TLS encryption. We implement technical and organisational measures (TOMs) pursuant to Art. 32 GDPR to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or manipulation.
Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention periods (in particular commercial and tax law periods of 6–10 years) prevent this.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if legal requirements or our data processing procedures change. The current version is available at radacom.de and nikos.info. Registered users will be informed of any significant changes.
