Many stages, tents, stalls and fairground rides, no central operations management. Intoxicated and international visitors must be safely and reliably guided via announcements and visual displays, and entry stopped quickly when needed.

You rent NIKOS through certified partners in your region – see what is included and how it works.
NIKOS combines entry control, announcements and monitoring of the mobile power supply into one platform – exactly right amid noise, crowds and mobile infrastructure.
The can, among other things, serve as a radio dispatch centre to coordinate the mobile radio users. Even though the
can do far more than a normal radio dispatcher, this basic function remains very important for everyday operation and saves a separate operating position for organisational radio. In an emergency, staff and safety functions can thus be controlled from a single system. Through our rental partners we provide radios and the corresponding infrastructure to set up temporary networks. If required,
can also be integrated into an existing radio system. It is often advantageous to integrate
into the organisational radio, avoiding duplicate infrastructure and multiple handheld radios for individual staff members. In certain cases, however, it can make sense to technically separate the NIKOS applications from everyday voice radio. We are happy to advise you on this.
At a fun fair, music from rides, tents and stalls overlaps. With , individual PA systems or the entire site can be used for an announcement at the push of a button – live, pre-recorded, imported as a file or via text-to-speech. Areas without their own PA are covered by directly connectable
speakers; disruptive music sources without an audio input can be briefly switched off via
during the announcement. Information on luggage storage and bringing prams can be played automatically at regular intervals.
On a tight site with many attractions, congestion builds up quickly. If a people-counting system detects a threshold being exceeded, it passes the signal to , which activates e.g. a yellow light at the affected entrances. When entry is stopped, staff switch it to red via
; the confirmation is sent back to the counting system and optionally as a text message to configured radios. A
strobe makes the closure visible from a distance.
Catering and showmen's businesses often connect their equipment to the temporary power distributors uncoordinatedly – phase overloads and outages are the result. With , load and consumption data at the distributors can in future be measured continuously. If a phase approaches the set limit, this is shown in the system and an alarm is raised before the fuse trips. If a circuit fails anyway, this is shown immediately on the
and optionally sent by text message to the radio of the responsible staff member.
continues to run uninterrupted on battery power during a power failure.
Cash areas, storage and rides closed at night must be protected against unauthorised access. Gates and enclosures equipped with report every opening with a timestamp to the
and to mobile patrols; at the same time a
emergency light can switch on or a warning tone sound via
. Via
, large floodlights of up to 2300 W (10 A) can also be switched if needed. Fences and control boxes can be monitored with a simple bell wire used as a contact loop.
Light masts, water pumps and other devices can be controlled via 's switching functions – by timer or manually from the
or configured radios, without staff having to travel there. If, for example, the water pressure at a sanitary container drops,
automatically switches on the pump until the target pressure is reached again.
Escape routes, car parks and dark corners need reliable lighting. Wireless emergency lights are mounted in minutes without tools on masts, trees or trusses, charge during the day via their solar panel and switch automatically via a twilight sensor. Removal is only possible with a special tool (theft protection).
NIKOS runs on its own self-sufficient radio network – independent of mobile networks, Wi-Fi and the internet. The announcement unit keeps running for up to 16 hours on its internal battery, and announcements via the
outdoor loudspeaker continue during a power failure as well. Warnings therefore reach visitors even when public networks and power fail.
