NIKOS is not a conventional PA system, but a radio-based public address, alarm and control system for large events, construction sites and crisis situations, which you can rent by the day through certified partners and either integrate into your PA or use on its own.
ChallengeAt Hessentag 2027 in Idstein, crowded conditions, a noisy environment and visitors who speak different languages pose particular challenges for visitor safety. In an emergency, warnings and instructions must reach everyone clearly and intelligibly despite high noise levels and dense crowds. When visitor numbers are high, the mobile network can quickly become overloaded, making mobile-network-based systems unsuitable for crisis situations.
combines announcements, alerting, visitor information and control in a single, network-independent platform. ![NIKOS [dispatcher]²](https://nikos.info/assets/logos/nikos/SVG/NIKOS dispatcher.svg)
controls the announcement units for individual announcement locations, specific areas or the entire event site. This allows safety announcements to be triggered as needed, while reducing the need for distributed operating stations and separate control devices.
fully meets DIN EN 50849 (electroacoustic emergency warning systems). The system was designed specifically for safety-relevant announcement and alerting tasks, technically built for everyday operation as well as for emergencies. For ELA systems, DIN EN 50849 sets out the relevant framework. Because — unlike mobile network-based solutions — does not depend on any external network, it is always immediately usable and fully meets the requirements set out in the standard. Other safety-related standards such as DIN EN 54, DIN VDE 0833-4 or DIN 14675 (voice alarm systems) concern a different field of use and functional scope and are therefore not relevant for in terms of approval. Since 2017, has been used successfully many times as a public address system for temporary and mobile applications in mission-critical communication tasks. RADACOM and your regional partner will advise you on functions and support you in implementing the requirements. was specifically developed for flexible outdoor deployments without fixed infrastructure. One or two people can mount the modules within a few minutes on different structures such as lampposts, stages, stalls or trees and configure them individually. A standard Schuko power socket is sufficient for continuous operation. uses its own autonomous radio network. operates via its own autonomous radio network and independently of public communication networks and their availability. Since does not rely on wired connections but communicates via radio, the connection is automatically re-established after an interruption. ![NIKOS [audio]²](https://nikos.info/assets/logos/nikos/SVG/NIKOS audio.svg)
has an internal battery with up to 16 hours of operating time, which also supplies connected accessory modules. continues to operate even if the mobile network is overloaded or public communication networks are disrupted. This ensures that visitor safety at Hessentag 2027 remains operational even in the event of a power failure or disruptions to public communication networks.![NIKOS [LED]²](https://nikos.info/assets/logos/nikos/SVG/NIKOS LED.svg)
