Beim Lollapalooza Berlin treffen hohe Besucherdichte, Bühnenbeschallung und dauerhaft bewegte Besucherströme aufeinander. Service-Durchsagen, Warnungen und Handlungsanweisungen müssen auch dann verständlich bleiben, wenn zentrale Bereiche akustisch stark belastet sind. Bei Unwetter, Überfüllung oder einem Zwischenfall zählt außerdem die Zeit: Besucher müssen schnell informiert und gelenkt werden. Service announcements, warnings and instructions must remain intelligible even when key areas are subject to significant acoustic strain. In the event of severe weather, overcrowding or an incident, time is also critical: visitors must be informed and guided quickly. At the same time, the mobile network cannot be relied upon when usage is high.

Wiederkehrende Informations- und Steuerungsaufgaben werden über NIKOS [dispatcher]² von einer Stelle aus gesteuert und durch NIKOS überwacht bzw. ausgeführt; dadurch sinkt der Bedarf an dezentralen Bedien- und Wachposten. NIKOS [relay]² schaltet externe Geräte aus derselben Bedienoberfläche heraus und senkt so Material-, Installations- und Abstimmungsaufwand.

With NIKOS, announcements, system monitoring, visitor information and device control come together on a single platform — fully independent of the public network. Integrating existing PA infrastructure reduces the need for separate loudspeaker lines, long cable runs and additional control points. Recurring information and control tasks are managed from a single location via NIKOS [dispatcher]² and monitored or executed by NIKOS, reducing the need for decentralized control and security posts. NIKOS [relay]² switches external devices from the same user interface, thereby reducing material, installation and coordination costs.

Ja, NIKOS erfüllt die DIN EN 50849 „Elektroakustische Notfallwarnsysteme“ vollständig. Das System wurde gezielt für sicherheitsrelevante Durchsagen und Alarmierungen konzipiert und ist technisch sowohl für den Alltag als auch für den Notfall ausgelegt. Die DIN EN 50849 ist die für funkgestützte ELA-Anlagen wie NIKOS maßgebliche Norm. Weil NIKOS im Gegensatz zu mobilfunkbasierten Systemen unabhängig von einem externen Netz funktioniert, ist eine sofortige Nutzbarkeit jederzeit gegeben — die Normanforderungen werden dadurch vollständig erfüllt. Nicht einschlägig für NIKOS sind demgegenüber andere sicherheitstechnische Normen wie DIN EN 54, DIN VDE 0833-4 und DIN 14675 (Sprachalarmierungsanlagen), da sie ein anderes Einsatzgebiet und einen anderen Funktionsumfang betreffen und für den Einsatz von NIKOS daher nicht relevant sind. Yes. NIKOS was developed for flexible outdoor deployments without permanent infrastructure. One or two people can mount the modules on structures such as streetlights, stages, trees, stalls or decorations within just a few minutes and configure them individually. A standard Schuko power connection is sufficient for continuous operation.
