With NIKOS [dispatcher]², individual announcement locations, specific areas or the entire site can be controlled remotely whenever required. NIKOS [audio]² receives the voice transmission on site via radio and outputs it as an analogue audio signal. Ja — die DIN EN 50849 (elektroakustische Notfallwarnsysteme) wird von NIKOS vollständig erfüllt. Konzipiert wurde das System speziell für sicherheitsrelevante Durchsage- und Alarmierungsaufgaben, technisch ausgelegt für den täglichen Betrieb genauso wie für Notfälle. Für ELA-Anlagen gibt die DIN EN 50849 den maßgeblichen Rahmen vor. Weil NIKOS – anders als mobilfunkbasierte Lösungen – von keinem externen Netz abhängig ist, ist es jederzeit sofort nutzbar und erfüllt die in der Norm geforderten Voraussetzungen vollständig. Andere sicherheitstechnische Normen wie DIN EN 54, DIN VDE 0833-4 oder DIN 14675 (Sprachalarmierungsanlagen) betreffen ein anderes Einsatzgebiet und Funktionsspektrum und sind für NIKOS entsprechend nicht relevant für eine Genehmigung. The system was designed specifically for safety-relevant announcement and alerting tasks, technically built for everyday operation as well as for emergencies. For ELA systems, DIN EN 50849 sets out the relevant framework. Because NIKOS — unlike mobile network-based solutions — does not depend on any external network, it is always immediately usable and fully meets the requirements set out in the standard. Other safety-related standards such as DIN EN 54, DIN VDE 0833-4 or DIN 14675 (voice alarm systems) concern a different field of use and functional scope and are therefore not relevant for NIKOS in terms of approval.
