Beim Schützenfest Hannover laufen Festumzug und stationärer Festzeltbetrieb zeitgleich oder in enger Folge, während sehr viele Besucher zwischen Zugweg, Zelten und Fahrgeschäften wechseln. Evakuierungsdurchsagen müssen deshalb unterschiedliche Besucherbereiche erreichen, ohne dass Einsatzkräfte jede Position einzeln anfahren oder per Hand abstimmen. Der traditionelle Ablauf bindet Vereine, Kapellen, Schausteller und ehrenamtliche Helfer ein; ohne gemeinsame Koordinationsebene gehen wichtige Informationen im Ernstfall zu langsam an die richtigen Stellen.

At the Hannover Schützenfest, the parade and the stationary festival tent operations take place simultaneously or in close succession, while very large numbers of visitors move between the parade route, tents and fairground rides. Evacuation announcements must therefore reach different visitor areas without requiring emergency personnel to travel to or coordinate each location individually by hand. NIKOS wurde speziell für flexible Außeneinsätze ohne feste Infrastruktur entwickelt. Die Module lassen sich von ein bis zwei Personen innerhalb weniger Minuten an unterschiedlichen Konstruktionen wie Laternen, Bühnen, Bäumen, Buden oder Dekorationen montieren und individuell konfigurieren. Ein normaler Schuko-Stromanschluss reicht für den Dauerbetrieb aus.
NIKOS was specifically developed for flexible outdoor operations without fixed infrastructure. The modules can be mounted by one or two people within just a few minutes on a variety of structures, such as streetlights, stages, trees, stalls or decorations, and configured individually.
